Toddlers

(For children between 9months and 23 months at the start of school) 

The philosophy of this class is to provide an opportunity for a child to have his or her parent or caregiver's undivided attention in a controlled environment and to socialize with other children. The hour consists of free play and guided play. We often introduce sensory play centers or simple art explorations, along with a short circle time for music and movement, over the course of the year, too, so the toddlers have a wide and varied experience.

A caregiver attends with each child for the whole hour and participates in our activities. This could be a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or nanny - any adult that is part of your caregiving team is welcome! The toddler classes are a great first introduction to school and playing with a peer group for your toddler and give adults a chance to connect with others in the community who are in a similar stage of life.
