Extended Day Opportunities
Enrichment and Lunch Bunch
Enrichment opportunities are available for children enrolled in the Sparrows, Dragonflies, Butterflies, and Junior Kindergarten classes for an additional fee.
For students in the Sparrows, Dragonflies, and Butterflies classes, a one-hour Lunch Bunch class is offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays immediately following dismissal. Children bring their lunches from home, socialize with their peers, and engage in child-centered activities led by their classroom teachers.
Junior Kindergarteners have the option of joining more curriculum-focused Enrichment classes and can bring their lunch for a 1.5 hour extended time at school on Monday through Thursday. Past classes have included STEM explorations, Art, Drama, French, and Global Cultures.
Kenilworth Park District Partnership
The Kenilworth Park District partners with All Things Bright and Beautiful to offer a variety of recreational classes exclusively for our ATB&B Butterflies, Dragonflies, and Junior Kindergarten students following their Lunch Bunch or Enrichment classes. Butterflies and Dragonflies can enroll in one 45min class starting in January. Junior Kindergarten can enroll in one 45min class at the start of school and up to two consecutive classes starting in January. These programs range from art and music, to movement and yoga classes.
Enrollment in any extended-day class and any of the Kenilworth Park District programming requires separate registration. Registration links will be shared with eligible student families after the initial school year registration is complete.
