Grade 6 thru High School Youth Groups Info:

Who?

Our youth groups are open to all students in 6th grade through high school.  Friends of parishioners are always welcome.

What?

Our youth ministry nurtures, guides and encourages spiritual growth and development in all students.

We strive to provide a variety of opportunities and experiences to draw our youth into active, responsible participation in the life, mission and work of our faith community, our local community and our global community.

We seek to help our youth discover and share their gifts and talents; grow in life skills; develop a positive self-image, understanding and respect for differences; serve those in need; foster social change; and be comfortable in their relationship with God.

We provide loving, caring adult lay leadership in a safe atmosphere which allows openness of thought, word and deed.

When?

Students are encouraged to attend the Sunday 9:00 a.m. liturgy, which offers opportunities for student participation as acolytes, lay readers and greeters.  Our youth groups meet on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:45 a.m., with outside activities during the week.

Where?

Each group has its own dedicated meeting room on the lower level. The comfortable and casual environment promotes creative learning, group discussion, and quiet reflection.  All rooms have internet connection.

Why?

Friendship, fun, food and faith are the main components of all youth groups.  Additionally, exceptional opportunities are provided to connect with the greater community through local and global mission trips.  Sunday attendance is a requirement for participation in all trips.
