Worship Service Ministries
Acolytes
Acolytes light and extinguish candles, carry the processional cross (Crucifer), and the candles (Torch), and assist with the presentation of the bread and wine. Although acolytes may be adults or children, it is traditionally the first experience our youth have assisting the clergy with, and vesting for, the liturgy. This opportunity is available to students in grades 4-12.
