Sunday Nursery Care

Infant Nursery

Church of the Holy Comforter has established a safe and inviting nursery environment for the care of young children while their parents attend Church services and Parish programs. Our nursery is staffed by adult professional caregivers who have completed Diocesan required background checks.
On Sunday morning, the nursery is available for all infants while adults attend the 9:00 Liturgy and the Adult Forum. You must sign in upon arrival and indicate what adult will pick up the child from the nursery. Sign out is required. A pager will be issued to you, should we need to reach you during the service or program. No food brought in by parents is permitted in the nursery during regular Sunday services due to health issues and safety issues.

Two and Three Year Olds

Two and three year olds experience the gospel through their capacity to wonder about the important stories of our faith. Using a wealth of activities, games, crafts, songs, stories, finger plays and felt boards, children focus on the wonders of creation and the life of Jesus through Children's Bible Stories. The preschool classrooms make an ideal setting for this age, who will be cared for by professional caregivers. These individuals have experience in Early Childhood settings and have been thoroughly vetted with references and background checks. No food brought in by parents is permitted in the classroom during regular Sunday services due to health issues and safety issues. The children will say grace before the snack of graham crackers and water is served mid morning. Care is provided fduring the 9:00 Liturgy and the Adult Forum.
