Welcome To Jill Klusendorf

We are delighted to be able to welcome our new interim Director of Community Life. The newest team member is Jill Klusendorf, who began her position this Monday July 16.

Jill is a native of the Sauganash neighborhood in Chicago, where she still lives with her husband, David, a commodities trader, and her children, Hannah (22), Conor (21) and Noah (16). Jill has extensive experience, primarily as a volunteer and volunteer coordinator, over many years working in church and church-related settings, as well as in other non-profit organizations. She most recently co-chaired the Loyola Academy Ramble, which generated $1.15 million for tuition assistance at Loyola, and previously led efforts for the Ramble in copy writing, public relations, advertising and the like. She has also been on the Children's Service Board of Children's Memorial Hospital for 18 years, including a term as president. She has significant experience in event planning and execution, marketing, database management, and publications. Her degree is in Communications, with a concentration in Public Relations, from Loyola University in Chicago, and she has served in a variety of capacities in her home parish of Queen of All Saints Basilica in Chicago.

Jill is accessible, outgoing, energetic, and extremely excited to become part of the life of Holy Comforter. She is being engaged on an interim/temporary basis during this time of transition, with the hope that it might turn into a longer relationship. Jill will be here from 8:30 to 5:00 every day. Please take a moment to welcome her to CHC as soon as you have the opportunity. Her e-mail address is jcklusendorf@holycomforter.org, and her phone extension will be 111.
