A Mother's Day Diaper Drive May 9th

Due to the incredible need and high cost of disposable diapers, Connections for the Homeless has asked our parish to participate in their one-day Diaper Drive on Sunday, May 9. Disposable diapers for newborn through toddler sizes will be collected in the parlor throughout the morning. This is a wonderful gift for moms unable to provide such a basic necessity for their children. Thank you for your support.

2010 Easter People

Each year, two parishioners graciously come before the parish to tell their faith stories - significant events that were turning points in their lives and their awareness of God at that point. Since its institution in 1992, we've heard stories of bravery, struggles with illness, and tests of strength. We've shared their laughter and tears, and appreciated the opportunity to get to know them more personally.
This year's Easter People are Marcia Cleveland and Peter Harlan. Marcia and her husband, Mark Green, have been members at Holy Comforter since 2004, and if you don't know them, you certainly know their children, 12 year old Julia and 9 year old Sam. Peter and his wife, Tina, and their sons, 8 year old Christopher and 6 year old Dylan have been parishioners since 2005. Peter is a currently a member of our Vestry.
We welcome Marcia as our Adult Forum presenter on Sunday, April 25, and Peter on Sunday, May 2. Our Adult Forum, a time for fellowship and education, is held every Sunday at 10:00 am in the Great Hall. All are invited.
