MOM Group

The MOM Group (Ministry of Motherhood) provides various opportunities for young women to celebrate their ministry as mothers and daughters, sisters and friends, and to build relationships with one another through fellowship events.  Most events are family-oriented and are held at the parish.

1st Friday Coffees
Held on the first Friday of each month at 9:15am, these are playdates for moms and kids!  Moms can catch up with each other while their children play together.  For moms whose children are in preschool - this is the perfect way to have some adult time!  No RSVP required.

Pumpkin Carving Party 
On Thursday, October 21, over 120 people gathered in the Great Hall at Holy Comforter for what has become an annual event sponsored by the M.O.M. Group (Ministry of Motherhood) at Holy Comforter. After pizza and salad for dinner, over 50 pumpkins were carved. "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" entertained the children as the parents put the finishing touches on the pumpkins. It was a fun evening of fellowship for all the families who participated.

Family Movie Night - Friday, January 21 at 5:30pm
After sharing a pizza dinner, everybody is invited to curl up with their pillows and blankets to watch a movie on the big screen. Popcorn is served during the movie.  RSVP is required and pajama-wearing is encouraged!

Valentine's Party - Thursday, February 10 at 5:30pm
This family party includes cookies for decorating and valentines for sharing.  RSVP required.
