The Gift of Flowers

Sundays at Church of the Holy Comforter are known for many welcoming touches, including beautiful floral arrangements on the altar and in the narthex. Most Sunday, the flowers are given in honor or in memory of loved ones by parishioners. This is a wonderful way to celebrate the lives of those who have meant so much to us.

We welcome and encourage you to be a part of the Flower Ministry of Holy Comforter throughout the year, not just at Christmas and Easter, by donating flowers to commemorate someone important to you, or even an important date or anniversary. Please call Laurel O'Donnell or Jeff Wiszowaty at 847-251-6120 at least two weeks before the Sunday you select. A donation of $125 - 150 is suggested. The Flower Ministry, comprising 21 parishioners, will try to accommodate special requests if you have them. The church budget subsidizes the Flower Ministry, but additional donations throughout the year are needed and would be deeply appreciated.
