Holy Comforter is full of activity that brings our parish family together either as a complement to a worship service or in pure fellowship and fun. Our annual Fall Fellowship Dinner begins with refreshments and fellowship hosted at parishioner’s homes, followed by dinner and entertainment at the parish Great Hall. Through the year we have other fellowship meals and receptions such as the Advent Lessons and Carols reception, Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, and Baptismal receptions. A special treat is the Living Creche presentation, now in its tenth year, entertaining young and old as adults, children, and live animals reenact the Christmas story. In June we kick off the summer worship schedule with the Parish Picnic, which includes an informal outdoor Eucharist at Townley Field followed by games and activities for all ages and a cookout and potluck luncheon.
