April 10, 2016

Last year, during the Easter season, we celebrated a special Eucharist featuring music from the Gospel and African-American Spirituals traditions. It proved so popular that we reprised it this Easter season. "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" took place Sunday, April 10, at the 9:00 Eucharist, and was a lively, exuberant liturgy featuring our choir, solos by youth choir director Bill Gordon, the Rev. Dr. Jason Parkin and Gretchen Steele, and a couple of surprises. We heard and sung music not often offered in Episcopal churches. Fr. Chris Hardman delivered a spirited sermon. It was a truly special celebration!
